Building a
Partner Video Center
for Zoom

Zoom Video Communications, Inc. wanted a better way to keep their partners around the world connected and informed. They have a large library of video content, including on-demand webinars, product enablement, and recordings of partner-focused events such as Zoomtopia Partner Connect, but that didn’t mean partners were able to easily access, reference and discover those materials. They needed a sophisticated solution to help their global partner network find the specific resources they needed, in their native language.

THE COMPANY

Zoom, a leading communications and collaboration company, has a mission of making communications frictionless and secure. They provide meaningful connections, facilitate modern collaboration, and driving human innovation through solutions like team chat, phone, meetings, omnichannel cloud contact center, smart recordings, whiteboard, and more, in one offering.
Their community of thousands of partners around the globe work with this ground-breaking video communications platform to integrate communications into products for large enterprises, small businesses, and individuals.

THE CHALLENGE:

Zoom needed to be able to market, promote and educate their thousands of international Partners. To do so, they required a video platform that could seamlessly embed into their current system workflow to create the Zoom Partner Video Center, one single stop library for all partner-facing video content.

Prior to the launch of the Partner Video Center, Zoom did not have an experience that centralized all video content, video search, and video distribution across their different partner types and content sources (e.g., marketing webinars, product webinars, solution training, best practices, videos from virtual events, etc.). Furthermore, the Zoom team felt that they could benefit further from leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, in-video search, and interactivity such as interactive overlays, forms, or chaptering. They wanted to engage their partners with video content and inspire them to take an action, such as deal registration, completing training, or activating a campaign. Lastly, their partners are located all over the world. They wanted to provide a personalized, regionalized experience, so their partners could view content with captions provided in their native language.

THE SOLUTION:

With AnyClip, Zoom was able to create the Zoom Partner Video Center, where all video content would be centralized, analyzed, and made available through the existing partner portal. All partner-ready video content and enablement is now embedded in organized, searchable video-on-demand channels.

By using AnyClip’s Visual Intelligence platform, the Zoom team leveraged the power of AI for a seamless user experience. Through AnyClip’s proprietary AI, all content in the Video Center is fully searchable by keyword or phrase—written or spoken—allowing users to surface relevant information and answers within video, instantly—no scrolling required. Automated highlights and chaptering are also available for long-form content to simplify information into more digestible summaries. Additionally, with ChatGPT-generated intelligence, video descriptions are instantly automated for every video uploaded eliminating the need for manual labor.

In addition, their partner team can now make all Partner Marketing Webinar and video content interactive and engaging with custom calls-to-action (CTA’s). They can also capture new lead opportunities using in-video forms.

Not only can AnyClip automatically translate the content into 100+ languages, the settings are defined by user. Each user can have a personalized experience, so when they choose closed captions, they automatically see their videos subtitled in the language of their choice. All videos are then searchable via the user’s language of choice leveraging the platform’s multi-language search engine.
