AnyClip Signs with PubMatic for Programmatic Video Monetisation
Facilitating AnyClip EMEA growth, collaboration includes brand-safe, preferred Private Marketplace (PMP) access
London (June 6, 2017) AnyClip, an AI-based video content data monetisation platform, has signed a preferred partner deal with automation solutions company PubMatic to help monetise its video display inventory across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
The agreement will see PubMatic take on responsibility for programmatic monetisation of AnyClip’s in-stream and out-stream video inventory and includes preferred access rights to AnyClip’s private marketplace (PMP) transactions. AnyClip, which includes International Business Times among its premium publisher partners, will leverage PubMatic’s strengths in monetising publisher-side video content to fuel its aggressive growth plans in EMEA, which launched with the opening of a European office in London last year.
“PubMatic brings unparalleled value to our video monetisation plans, giving us a premium, proven, and innovative partner as we expand our offering to include Artificial Intelligence-driven video content monetisation and targeted ad solutions across EMEA,” said Asaf Dan, AnyClip’s COO. “PubMatic has continuously demonstrated its advanced functionality, interface, and customer service for publisher revenue automation, maximising yields for desktop and mobile video.”
Bill Swanson, VP EMEA at PubMatic, added: “We’re delighted to add AnyClip to our portfolio of premium video publishers. Its growth plans in the UK and EMEA align closely to ours, and we look forward to helping it continue on its growth journey. Advertisers’ demand for high-value, high-quality video inventory is increasing as consumer engagement with such content continues to rise. A key factor for both publishers and buyers when choosing which tech supplier to partner with for selling and buying premium video inventory is the ability of that partner to provide transparency and control in all aspects of the transaction, particularly around delivery and performance. This is exactly the kind of control PubMatic offers, and that attracts great video publishers to our platform.”
AnyClip is an AI-based video content data and monetization platform that enables leading studios, broadcasters, and premium publishers to maximize the value of their content by analyzing and optimizing it for advertising. Through proprietary machine learning and image recognition technology, AnyClip quickly parses large quantities of video content, cuts it into scenes, identifies ideal timestamps for advertising, and allows the insertion of highly-targeted ads that match the content’s underlying advertising category and sentiment. This vital data also enables AnyClip to actively maximize publisher revenue by serving highly targeted ads through a proprietary ad exchange, which is connected to thousands of advertisers in a brand-safe and controlled content environment. Based in Tel Aviv, with offices in New York and London, AnyClip is backed by Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), Roman Abramovich’s Ervington Investments, former Sony America President & CEO Michael Schulhof, and Limelight Networks. In 2016 Deloitte named AnyClip the second-fastest-growing technology company in Israel and 14th in EMEA.
